Notes from the producers
Tradition says that you plant an apple tree for your children and a perry pear tree for your grandchildren. Perry making is a very old craft and perry pears are only to be found in very limited quantities in the West of England. This perry is dry with a delicate bouquet of pear, treat like a wine.
Personal Notes on Burrow Hill Sparkling Perry
Burrow Hill Sparkling Perry is a very quaffable perry with lovely fruity notes and a vibrant perlage. Delightfully wine-like, it is not particularly sweet–a blessing for people like me who lack a sweet tooth–yet it has an incredibly agreeable personality.
Burrow Hill Sparkling Perry feels like a particularly good choice for a relaxed Summers day–with such lovely fruity notes and low ABV, it just whispers “holiday”.

Food pairing
With it’s sweet yet fruity and floral notes, pair this cider with a spiced fish dish, especially shellfish–Something similar to a prawn pad thai would be perfect. Alternatively you can enjoy iy with a vegetarian green curry or, surprisingly, even a delicate dessert like lemon curd tart.
