Poire by Sassy
Sassy’s Poire is a festival of flavour, crafted with artisanal care in Normandy, France. Differently from its English cousins, the perry, Poire is made from dessert and eating pear varieties, including plant de blanc, vinot, antricotin and belle-verge
- Region: Normandy, France
- Alcohol: 2.5%
- Style: semi-sweet, gently sparkly
- Pear varieties: 12 varieties of pears, mainly plant de blanc, vinot, antricotin and belle-verge

Tasting Notes
- See: Golden, rich hay colour, not completely transparent in opacity with gentle bubbles
- Smell: Ripe pears, and pear juice and mild notes of honey
- Taste: Semi-sweet to the mouth with a tangy finish and creamy bubbles; it has good acidity to balance the sweet elements
Notes from the producers
Our Poiré cider is an artisanal product made from pears grown in a unique terroir located near forests. This proximity to the forests gives the pears a characteristic acidity that is softened by the sweetness of the silty-clayey plain.
We use 12 varieties of pears, mainly plant de blanc, vinot, antricotin and belle-verge, mainly from century-old pear trees. These specific pear varieties are carefully selected for their taste, texture and sugar content to guarantee a superior quality perry cider.
The production of our perry is completely environmentally friendly. It is an authentic, tasty and balanced cider, ideal to accompany your favorite dishes or simply to relax with friends.
